{"id":494,"date":"2016-08-08T13:20:07","date_gmt":"2016-08-08T11:20:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ytaunion.com\/yta\/?p=494"},"modified":"2016-08-08T13:20:07","modified_gmt":"2016-08-08T11:20:07","slug":"project-dream-reality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yt.omni.ge\/?p=494","title":{"rendered":"Project \u201cDream and Reality\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>2013-2014<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Project \u201cDream and Reality\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cDream and Reality\u201d embodied the projects implemented by young Georgian stage designers and their experimental searches in the context of the Prague International Quadrennial. &#8221;<br \/>\nPartners: YTA UNION-Georgia, South Caucasus Contemporary Dance &amp; Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi &#8211; Georgia, Europe House<br \/>\nProject is realized in the frames of the &#8220;Regional Art and Culture Program in the South Caucasus&#8221; with financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)<br \/>\nProject partner and co-organizer is the South Caucasus Contemporary Dance &amp; Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi.<br \/>\nProject partner \u2013 the Europe House<br \/>\nProject implementation period: September 15, 2013 \u2013 January 15, 2014<br \/>\nThe aims of the project:<br \/>\n\u2022 Promotion of the contemporary Georgian scenography through revelation of the creative searches and opportunities of young artists.<br \/>\nObjectives:<br \/>\n\u2022 To promote and demonstrate within the \u201cArtist\u2019s Theater\u201d concept, the experimental ideas of young Georgian stage designers which were not\/could not be realized on the theater scene.<br \/>\n\u2022 To provide the packaging and presentation of scenography projects realized for the qualifying competition for the Prague International Quadrennial close to the international standards.<br \/>\nProject overview<br \/>\nThe project is based on the comparative analysis of the contemporary Georgian theater set and aims to reveal the mainstream in the experimental projects and works of young stage designers, which did not appear on stage setting.<br \/>\nIn the frames of the project we developed the young stage designers database and competition criteria. As a result of selection based on those criteria the summary exhibition of experiments and projects implemented by young people was organized. The results were analyzed and reflected in the working concept of the Georgian curatorial group for the Prague International Quadrennial. The final phase of the project was dedicated to the identification of the PQ participants.<br \/>\nThe project target groups are the modern Georgian theater society and the audience interested in the scenography and visual arts.<br \/>\nThe participants are divided into several groups:<br \/>\n\u2022 Project staff -5 persons;<br \/>\n\u2022 Jury members\/they will be selected from the for board members and experts group by the project beginning\/ -3 persons;<br \/>\n\u2022 exhibition participants -5 to 10 persons according to the selection.<br \/>\nYoung artists exhibition \u201cDream &amp; Reality\u201d was held in frames of the project<br \/>\nAddress: 2 Shalva Dadiani street, (The Europe House) Opening 1.02 at 19:00.
