The document uploaded here includes the detailed research outcomes, comprehensive recommendations and draft law developed under the project \u201cDevelopment of Recommendations for a Legislative Initiative to Determine the Status of the Artist.\u201d This project was designed to achieve two key objectives: to create a framework for defining the status of the artist in Georgia, in alignment with the country\u2019s commitments under the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions as part of its European integration efforts, and to support the democratization of cultural policy by initiating the legislative process.
\nDespite political and logistical challenges, including the complexities introduced by the adoption of the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence, the project succeeded in achieving its primary goals. It delivered a draft law on the status of the artist, a package of strategic recommendations, and a targeted awareness-raising campaign to foster dialogue and understanding about artists\u2019 rights in Georgia. These outcomes lay a strong foundation for continued legislative and policy advancements in the cultural sector.<\/p>\n
